Kit Includes: (1) Left Side IMCA Spec GM Metric Stock Car Racing Upper Control Arm (1) Right Side IMCA Spec GM Metric Stock Car Racing Upper Control Arm (2) Speedway Low Friction K5208 Style Extended Stud Ball Joints (2) Ultra-Low Friction Press In Lower Ball Joints K6145 Style IMCA Spec GM Metric Stock Car Racing Upper Control Arms, Aluminum Crossmember IMCA rules allow the Stock Car class to use spec tubular upper control arms. The stock stamped steel arms are getting hard to find and don't have the strength of these tubular arms. These A-arms bolt to your stock mounts and accept stock ball joints. These control arms have a 1/4" thick steel plate where the ball joint bolts in. Fits 1978-87 mid-size GM Metric chassis. Steel construction. Aluminum cross shaft. Bolts to stock 1978-87 Metric mounts (6-7/8" center-to-center) Greaseable steel bushings. Accepts stock K5208 style Metric ball joints. IMCA Approved stickers. Right arm length is 8" Left arm length is 8.5" Use with mount plate 916-34312. Speedway Low Friction K5208 Style Extended Stud Ball Joints 32° swing angle to allow maximum suspension travel. Small or big tires, car raised or lowered - these ball joints will get the desired angles back where they need to be. Not for street use - offroad use only. Low friction design (polished ball and housing) Stud is designed to bend before it breaks. Bolt-In. Small bolt circle. Same 10° stud taper as Moog K-5208. 1.0" extended length stud. Ball joint boot not included - can utilize # 917-22399 when required. Ultra-Low Friction Press In Lower Ball Joints K6145 Style Ultra-Low Friction press in lower ball joint 1277 style. Not for street use. Off-road use only. Small or big tires- car raised or lowered, these ball joints will get the desired angles back where they need to be. 32 deg swing angle to allow for maximum suspension travel. Press-In. 1.0" extended length stud.
